Africa Speaks a vu le jour en 2018 en tant que réseau informel de professionnels de l’édition du monde entier unis dans un objectif commun: établir une industrie de l’édition chrétienne viable et florissante en Afrique et devenir un réseau professionnel florissant.

« Je vois des auteurs africains formés et publiés en nombre croissant, leurs livres disponibles dans tous les pays du continent, des réseaux de distribution établis, des livres électroniques et des technologies d’impression à la demande permettant des prix réalistes, des droits d’auteur payés, des éditeurs et des libraires capables de gagner raisonnablement leur vie, et des livres africains ayant un impact à la fois sur l’Afrique et sur l’Église mondiale. »

LittAfrica 2023 will focus on the power of the written word to impart hope, and explore how the publishing industry can contribute to this mission.
We are hosting a webinar for authors, booksellers and publishers on DISCOVERABILITY. How do we get our books discovered? Lena Pira Mirembe, Founder of AfricanBooks.com will be facilitating.
Following the signing of the Africa Speaks 2018 Accord, we have been building the network for the last five years have thoroughly assessed the pressing needs in the Christian publishing industry in Africa. This will be a gathering to deliberate on the key issues and chart the way forward as a newtwork.
