Dar es Salaam was the first capital city of the United Republic of Tanzania
Located in East Africa, United Republic of Tanzania borders Uganda to the north;
Kenya to the northeast; Comoro Islands and the Indian Ocean to the east; Mozambique
and Malawi to the south; Zambia to the southwest; and Rwanda, Burundi, and the
Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west

Tanzania has the highest literacy rates in East Africa, standing at a whopping 94%.
Publishing and printing are generally viewed as the same and not seperate. Christian publishing in Tanzania was pioneered by denominations The earliest local publishing entrepreneur sprouted around 1998. One of the greatest need is translation of content into Swahili.
